A master is duty-bound to pass Turkish knowledge and values to a motivated learner. Having been taught true barbering by his father from the age of 12, Eric Yilmaz left Hackney for sunny West Sussex in 2015 and established Tonsorial Parlor.
Maintaining traditions, Tonsorial Parlor delivers true Turkish barbering with contemporary styling. Clients enjoy hair cutting, shaving, beard grooming, moustache waxing, ear singeing, threading and massage, accompanied by full Mediterranean hospitality.

Hairy Mary
Hair cut with scissors and clippers and a neck shave. This service includes ear singeing, eyebrow trimming & threading, trim and waxing nostril hairs, our traditional hot towel, wash and blow dry & styling the hair to your preference with a product of choice that we provide.

Mr Todd
The closest shave in history! This involves the application of moisturising cream followed by our traditional hot towel using olbas oil, cut throat razor shave and then a second moisturising cream with a hot towel and calming massage. This of course includes a hair wash, blow dry and style once complete.

Mow The Lawn
Our simple clipper cut and neck shave. We include ear singeing, eyebrow trimming/threading, trim/waxing nostril hairs and a hair wash. Completed with our traditional hot towel and cologne to give you a fresh feeling.

The Full Monty
Hair wash, scissor and clipper cut, neck shave, ear singeing/waxing and eyebrow trimming/threading, trimming/waxing excess nose hairs followed by our famous Mr Todd service (and waxing is optional).

If My Aunt Had a Beard
Scissor and clippers beard trim, razor lining on cheeks to create precise shaping of the beard, facial wash, eyebrow trim, threading nose hairs (trim or wax), ear singeing, application of moisturising cream and our traditional hot towel using olbas oil & cologne. Finished with a relaxing massage.

Young Stars
This Service is for aged 6-12 years only. Anyone under will be charged £10.00 or aged over will be charged an adult rate. This service is a scissor and clipper cut, hair wash if necessary, blow dry and styling with product of choice.
